STEP 1:

Open Adobe® Acrobat® Reader® DC. 

STEP 2:

To view the GradeAssist standardized comments, click the Tools tab, then click Add-On Tools. The comment list will appear on the right margin.

STEP 3:

To make a comment, click the Comment bubble at the top right of the screen (a "sticky note"). Click on a portion of text, a comment box will appear. You can use this to write a custom comment of your own if you wish, or simply choose one of the comments provided. Search for the comment you wish to use, and select. The standardized comment will then appear in the comment box.

STEP 4:

To view all comments, go to the Tools tab, and click Comment. The list of all your comments will appear on the right margin.

Click on any of the comments listed to go directly to that comment in the paper. 

STEP 5:

To edit a comment, double click on any of the comments and type to edit.
